An Introduction to Zapier and How it can Expand the Functionality of Keap

This is the text of an email regarding the Legacy Landing page builder.

TLDR:

Legacy builders for Landing pages and emails have been run alongside new ones for a while.

Legacy Landing Page will be switched off on 1/11/2023 and all Landing Pages need to be imported to the new one. Featured Image on this post is the Legacy Landing Page Builder

Legacy Email builder switched off in Q1 2023 but emails in campaigns will still work.  Image below is of the Legacy Email builder.

If you have an app bought after May 2023, this should not affect you

Please read this email in its entirety to understand how it impacts you and your customers, and how to prepare.

The legacy email and legacy landing page builders will be retired within the next year.

Starting November 1, 2023, the legacy landing page builder will be turned off for all editions of Keap. This includes:

  • Landing pages built in the Campaign Builder
  • Checkout pages built under E-Commerce Setup > Checkout Pages in Max Classic

Existing legacy landing pages will continue to work until November 1, 2023. Any legacy landing pages you import into an app via content publishing will also continue to work until November 1. However, to prevent new customers from using the old landing page builder, we will turn off access only for new customers on May 15, 2023.

How does this impact me?

As a partner, we encourage you to upgrade any landing pages you use in content publishing to the new builder as soon as you can. Legacy landing pages will no longer work after November 1, 2023.

How does this impact my customers?

Your customers will need to migrate their pages to the new landing page builder before November 1, 2023. We are currently exploring several options to help reduce the impact to those customers who have a high volume of published landing pages. These options will be communicated to customers and partners in the email on June 1, 2023.

In Q1 2024, the legacy email builder will be disabled in all editions of Keap. You will not be able to create new or edit existing templates, but you will be able to preview them. Legacy emails will continue to function in active Advanced Automations and Campaign Builder campaigns after the legacy builder is retired. We strongly encourage you to begin using the new email builder in preparation for this change.

In Max Classic, the new email builder is currently available in the Campaign Builder and will become available for Email Broadcasts in Q2 2023. In Pro and Max, the new email builder is available for both Email Broadcasts and Advanced Automations.

Later this year, we will automatically migrate existing templates from the old email builder into the new email builder. More details on the template migration plan will be provided in later communications. Once again, legacy emails in active Advanced Automations and Campaign Builder campaigns will not be migrated, but will continue to work after the legacy email builder is retired.
